Wedding Favour Ideas We're LOVING in 2026
If there's one detail guests always remember - it's the favour.

Hey Bridal Diaries Gang!
How's it going?! Happy Wedding Year to our 2026 couples- we hope you are excited!
We are now back with our weekly newsletters ready to serve you with lots of inspiration, help, advice and tips! This week we are discussing favours.
Now when couples ask us 'What's one thing we can cut from our wedding to reduce the budget?", our go-to is always 'favours'. But by that, we mean those standard favours that most couples get because they feel they have to.
Those are the same favours that get left on tables and we see go straight in the bin during the clear up- it's heartbreaking. So our point is, if you're going to do favours, do it intentionally and pick things that won't get left behind, so your guests can have memorable keepsakes of your amazing wedding!
1. Edible, but Elevated
Firstly, everyone’s favourite topic - food! But with a glow up.
Think mithai boxes with custom monograms, mini jars of infused honey, pistachio truffles or destination-inspired treats like limoncello bottles for an Italian wedding. You can also make it super personal to you as a couple. Did you get engaged in Turkey? Add Turkish delights. Is there a chocolate you always gift each other? Include that as a signature 'His' and 'Hers' chocolate.. Guests love those little story-led touches!
And honestly… guests love anything they can snack on the next day (especially after a long wedding weekend).

2. Personalised Keepsakes
Favours that double as keepsakes are a win-win! Embroidered potli bags, custom candles, engraved coasters… pieces guests will actually keep. If you want to get those emotions high, consider a handwritten note for a more intimate touch and layer these into display walls so they feel like part of the design and not an after thought. Cute, and functional!
3. Wellness & Self Care
Multi-day weddings are amazing… but they are a marathon for guests. So why not help your guests wind down between events with some mini ayurvedic oils, sleep mists, herbal teas and luxury bath salts (and our advice: make sure there are some left over for you to enjoy at the end of the wedding chaos too!).
If you have hardcore party guests, we would definitely recommend mini hangover kits (think hydration sachets, eye masks, paracetamol etc!) as well. Trust us, your guests will thank you.

4. Eco Conscious Gifting
Sustainability is front of mind for many couples these days. Seed packets, mini potted plants and charity donation cards are great alternatives to disposable gifts.
At the end of the day, the best favours are the ones that feel intentional and are a little reflection of you both as a couple.
Happy Planning Brides!
Love,
