2026 Trends We Are LOVING!
And what is here to stay...

Hi Bridal Diaries Gang! đ
Hi Brides, Grooms, Mums, Dads, Maid of honours, Siblings and anyone else who is currently 100 pinterest boards deep screaming âwhy are there SO. MANY. OPTIONS?!â I know you are all sat there trying to work out which of the thousands of wedding trends to followâŚ
But Iâve got some good news for you, weddings in 2026 are not about rules and following trends, they are about personality.
This is your sign to focus on who you are are as a couple, and use that to invite your guests into your world for the day (or weekend, or even week!). And the best bit is, when you focus on yourselves and put your personality into your celebrations, planning a wedding becomes way more fun!
So hereâs some inspiration to get you started on whatâs officially having a moment, what we are going to be seeing a lot this season, and what is here to stay for good.
WHATâS IN
PersonalisationâŚeverywhere
Now, I'm not just talking about personalised favours at each seat at dinner (although we love those), but in 2026 we are taking personalisation to another level. Monogrammed napkins, handwritten letters at place settings, personal vows in the decor, signature cocktails named after your dog, embroidered veils etc.. Itâs time to make your wedding = your story. Your guests should feel like they attended your wedding, not just a wedding.

Multi Day Celebrations
One day simply isn't enough anymore. Couples are stretching celebrations to include welcome dinners, pool parties, cultural nights, farewell lunches. A way for guests to genuinely connect rather than rushing through a timeline. It gives you as a couple a lot more time to actually spend with your guests too rather than running from place to place!
Destinations weddings work really well for this, when guests travel together, weddings naturally feel calmer and evolve into shared holidays filled with memories beyond the actual wedding itself (and if you need some help getting started with this you know where we aređ) But even if you arenât doing a destination wedding, you can create that feeling by doing an intimate welcome dinner the night before or a farewell brunch the day after. It just means overall you get more time with your guests!

Some of the amazing destination weddings weâve had the pleasure of planning!
The Circular Bouquet
We are loving the sculptural, chic, perfectly rounded bouquets becoming a bridal accessory. Fashion girly meets bridal. Not only are they different from your standard bouquet, but they are super practical! It means you can actually hug your guests without accidentally poking them in the eye with foliage đ

Comfortable (& happy!) Bridesmaids
It used to be the norm to pick a colour, pick a dress and hope for the best. Sleeves or no sleeves? Satin or slip? Structure or no structure? But letâs be real, we know girls, and someone is going to be unhappy with what youâve chosenâŚ
So what do you do instead? You pick the same colour palette, but allow your bridesmaids to pick their silhouettes and exact shade. The photos look effortlessly cohesive but your bridal party actually enjoy and feel confident in what they are wearing! Bonus: they are far more likely to re-wear it too and we are all here for sustainability!
Live Favour Engraving (make your favours become part of the entertainment!)
We are seeing more on site engraving stations at weddings, especially abroad! Think engraved perfume bottles, compact mirrors, jewelleryâŚGuests love watching their favours be transformed into something personal, and this way they are more likely to keep them and not leave them on the table!
WHATâS STAYING
Draping
If you have a big space and don't know how to completely transform it, you need to get ceiling draping. It is my favourite go-to to instantly elevate your wedding. It means you can have multiple events in the same room with completely different looks! Nothing softens a venue or creates a new atmosphere faster in our opinion.

After Party Outfit Changes
Short dresses, sparkle, feathers, high glamour ponytails, or even Bridal trainers! After party changes are still here! They are a fun way to incorporate your personality but also an excuse to get party ready and let's be honest, get out of that tight dress!
A Town Hall Wedding
Intimate civil ceremonies followed by dinners or parties are still so chic. Especially in London the photos you can get after a town hall wedding are iconic and can be used for your wedding stationery (if you are also having a religious wedding)!
Wedding Newspapers
This has been around a while, but still one of the best personal touches. You can really make the wedding newspaper your own - fill it with the story of you as a couple, an intro to the VIPs (mums, dads, siblings, bridal party, groom party etc etc), a gossip column, a horoscope feature, puzzles, even a kids version with colouring to keep them occupied. You name it, you can find a way to put it in there and guests genuinely enjoy reading these!
Final Thought
The biggest shift weâre seeing? Weddings feel warmer, more intimate and more intentional. Couples are prioritising guests and their experience, as well as bringing in their own personality over perfection. I.E, Couples are doing less of what they 'have toâ and more of what they âwant toâ.
If your wedding feels like you, youâre doing everything perfectly right â¨
Love always,
