10 Songs For Walking Down The Aisle 👰🏽♀️🎶
From tear-jerkers to upbeat vibes, I've got you! 🤍

Picking a song to walk down the aisle to can be difficult. You want the perfect song to represent not only you both as a couple but your emotions as you enter this new chapter in your life. I remember I spent hours going through various Spotifly and Youtube playlists trying to find ‘the one’. In the end, I found an acoustic version of mine and Nim’s song which gave me goosebumps and I knew that was it. I’ve shortlisted 10 great entrance song options below which I hope you love or at least can provide inspiration in your search!
1) At Last- Etta James
This is perfect for a classy and timeless civil wedding, you can’t go wrong! Make sure you don’t start walking until at least 0.22 seconds though when she first starts to sing.
2) Can’t Help Falling In Love- Hayley Reinhart
A modern version of this old school classic. The Elvis original is a great option too, but her delicate voice was a winner for me.
3) Heaven- Grace George
As you can tell I love finding covers as they are a ‘less obvious’ choice. This one is definitely an emotional one if you want that tear jerking entrance. (Don’t forget to leave some tissues for your nearest and dearest though!). Also, Grace George has other amazing covers too. I actually walked down to her cover of Ed Sheeran- Perfect; such a beautiful song and one that means a lot to Nim & I!
4) When We Were Young- Adele
This one is perfect for any childhood sweethearts that have been together since they were young! Also, you cannot beat Adele’s vocals in creating an emotional atmosphere!
5) Here Comes The Sun- Christina Perri
Another cover that I love. This is a bit more of an upbeat type of entrance song and would also work amazingly for a an outdoor summer wedding! Another popular entrance song of Christina Perri’s is ‘A Thousand Years’ which you could consider!
6) I Get To Love You- Ruelle
This was a close contender for my aisle entrance too; the lyrics are so beautiful! I’d suggest to start making your entrance around 0.48 just before the chorus and piano kicks in- it will be a stunning entrance!
7) You And Me- Lighthouse
A less obvious choice but exceptionally powerful song and lyrics. This one has made me cry when I’ve heard it at wedding entrances!
8) You Are The Best Thing- Ray LaMontagne
A really lovely upbeat option for those brides who want a more happy entrance. Love the chorus of this song and will definitely be a memorable song for your audience!
9) Halo- Beyoncé
Obviously couldn’t do this email without including this Queen. Halo is a beautiful option for your entrance. There are also amazing instrumental versions that you can use if you’d rather something without lyrics!
10) Wildest Dreams- Taylor Swift
Ending this list of 10 with a modern upbeat aisle long that I personally love. Bridgerton definitely helped put this on the map with the quartet version (Duomo- Wildest Dreams) but the original has perfect lyrics for your wedding day..”say you’ll remember me, standing in a nice dress, staring at the sunset..”
Gosh that was so hard to narrow down to 10! Let me know if you found this useful and I’ll do a Part 2! For those of you wanting instrumental background music for your ceremony (some of which could also be used as aisle entrances), check out the Pristine Events Civil Ceremony background music playlist here:
Happy Planning Bridal Diaries Gang! Don’t forget to think about other entrance songs once you’ve sorted yours. these include the groom entrance, bridesmaids entrance and then reception entrance songs! (Expect to be living on Spotify in the month before your wedding! 😂)
