10 Breathtaking UK Venues That You May Not Know About...💒
From stunning orangeries and rustic barns to London chic- I've got you!

Happy October Bridal Diaries gang! Sorry for the month long hiatus, September has been beyond a rollercoaster for me! I’ve managed my biggest wedding so far, had my birthday, a trip to Montenegro and also organised a charity brunch for Cancer Research UK raising £5000! Anyways, good news is I’m back with the weekly newsletters ready to provide you with inspo, advice, recommendations and all the best wedding tips ❤️
So todays’ Bridal Diaries is showcasing some of my favourite UK venues you may not have heard of. I’m in the midst of scoping out some of these for my 2025 couple and thought I’d share with any of you who are still looking for the perfect place to say 'I do’.
This exclusive venue is set in 450 acres of private grounds in the picturesque Cotswolds hills. With an estate large enough to host 150 guests, this unique venue offers couples an array of indoor and outdoor spaces that ensure each of the limited weddings they host are different to the next.

This 200 year old architectural gem will transport guests from the Cotswolds countryside straight to India. Shrubland Palace boasts one of the grandest entrances to any English country house, and sits in over 200 acres of pristine gardens. The venue benefits from multiple distinctive event spaces, with the Glass Pavilion able to accommodate over 1000 guests.

This Victorian inspired Grade-II listed venue is set just 20 minutes from Bristol and offers couples an array of indoor and outdoor spaces that can offer small intimate weddings to large scale affairs. Its iconic glass-panelled Orangery is ideal for a civil ceremony whilst offering unparalleled views over its breathtaking grounds.

This Victorian manor house set in the Cotswolds countryside is licensed for indoor and outdoor ceremonies, with a multitude of stunning spaces to choose from. With an optional marquee extension allowing for over 250 guests, this extraordinary venue offers something for all types of weddings.

6) The Londoner
This luxury hotel set in the heart of London offers couples a chance to say ‘I do’ in any of its seven suites, allowing for a plethora of weddings styles and sizes. Having opened in 2021, this 5 star hotel oozes grandeur and opulence and will sure to leave your guests in awe.

This magnificent wedding venue set just 25 miles from London is perfect for hosting a barn-style wedding without having to travel deep into the countryside. With three licensed spaces for ceremonies for up to 200 guests, this family run venue is the perfect balance of setting, style and scenery.

8) Crows Hall
Situated in the beautiful Suffolk countryside is the Grade-II listed redbrick manor house and Tudor long barn. With the option of authentic historic backdrops or their stunning marquee option, this venue offers spaces that suit weddings of all types and sizes.

Located in the South Leicestershire countryside, this luxury venue offers its couples a bespoke experience with the option of its converted Oak barn or contemporary marquee. Its' grounds provide the perfect backdrops for an array of custom experiences including horse-drawn carriages or even a helicopter landing!

10) Winstanley House
This Grade-II Listed Georgian house located just outside Leicester city centre possesses two luxury ballrooms, 168 acres of rolling public parkland and the capacity to hold up to 450 guests. With the perfect balance of traditional grandeur and modern touches, this is sure to be a venue that you’d want to consider.

Hope that helps as a starting point in your venue search! Bear in mind you will have to enquire about their guest capacity, their regulations on doing religious ceremonies, their access times and end times as well as if they have a restricted recommended supplier list.
Hope your planning is going well! 🤍
Love,
Priya
